Sound Is The Softest Armour

The exhibition addresses the contradiction between the hardness we perform and the tenderness we hide within ourselves. Artists explore healing, repair, recovery and care for living and non-living objects. Because the armour we choose, whether sonic, aesthetic or emotional, does not always withstand the onslaught and then cracks appear.

The sources that crystallize

To the Measure of Water As every summer — since forever — he had walked miles, backpack on his shoulders, to find her trace again, scrutinizing each rock with a magnifying glass, roaming every path that might lead him to her, to her source. He knew she had passed through here, and the valley inevitably […]
Still (Leben)

Throughout cultural history, breastfeeding has been many things: it was power, it was doctrine, it was a tool of oppression and an instrument of the state. What is it today? And how far are we willing to abandon our clichéd notions of it? In her spatial installation Still(Life), the Cypriot artist Penny Monogiou addresses the […]

The artist reflects upon the issue of exposure – both the image as seen by others and exhibition strategies. The arrangement of […]
Spazio Liminale

Liminal Space is a project rooted in the concept of transition, a suspension where forms oscillate between weight and lightness, between organic matter and imagination, holding the possibility of a metamorphosis awaited—or merely hoped for. Affinities remain hostile: fragments of a dialogue that resist full deciphering, inviting to be felt rather than understood.

Glossary

Picture a dining table at the end of an intimate banquet. The table, as wonky and fatigued as the satisfied guests, holds traces of secrets, laughter and a few discomforts spilled over the tablecloth. Stories and slurred words twined between utensils and dishware. These items lightened the atmosphere and granted proximity; chairs getting closer as […]
