The exhibition PHOENIX OUT OF THE ASHES (Facets of Transformations) is dedicated to the themes of rebirth, renewal, and metamorphosis. It offers a multifaceted perspective on the motif of the phoenix, which in many cultures is considered a symbol of eternal renewal. Based on the notion of decay and end, the works reflect the inevitable transience of life.
Various materials such as humus, ash, ceramics, and metal illustrate the fragility of life and the cycle of decay in nature and human creation. Nine artists present their works in an intermedial concept that combines painting, video, installation, and sculpture. PHOENIX OUT OF THE ASHES not only offers profound insight into the human experience of constant change but also invites reflection on the cycles of life and nature.

The exhibition is divided into three thematic sections: Ash to Ash, in which the darkness of decay points the way to a world of renewal and hope; Flame/Renewal, which shows works that symbolize the beginning of a new life cycle with bright colors and dynamic forms; and Myth/Reality, in which mythological aspects of renewal are combined with modern ones.
