‘Mara’ is the title of the launch event of Khrais – Tërshana art dealership and production studio at Vila 31 x Art Explora in Tirana, Albania. It was accompanied by an exhibition of 25 artists whose work was auctioned that same night. The artists presented in Mara have been curated with care to reflect both the depth and the breadth of contemporary practice today. The group brings together emerging and established voices, Albanian, Kosovan, and international, whose works hold both a distinctive visual language and conceptual strength. Each piece has been considered for its capacity to live within a private collection while sustaining dialogue with wider critical and institutional discourses. The selection spans mediums and approaches in a balance that speaks to first-time collectors as much as to seasoned patrons, and invites all present to begin or continue their engagement with contemporary art.
