I’m Yours
Can you see we are Kali? Life, death and destruction. With four arms we live forever. We are flesh, steel and bake the bread of life.
We are Atlas, lungs and liver.
Breathing beneath the future above us.
Oars rush life’s waterways and we row backwards, leaning forwards on façades.
Two pairs of arms reach out, around, and perhaps legs can hold the ground.
Can you hear? Necessity chimes.
Carefully grown, melted and forged.
Made beautiful, supple and safe.
The heart departs, weighed by a feather.
Indefinitely.
Hold us, I’m yours.
