Embodying desire is the focus of my work. The term itself is appropriated by this installation, not as something lascivious or romantic, but as a profound hollowing out of the possessed and surrounded by. In my thesis work, titled Jinx 1-17, this has taken the form of longing, mutation, and the glacial and seismic void of a valley, combined to form a single vignette of want.
