Low Ground Pressure

INTERMEZZO is a brief, intense moment – an unexpected interlude that breaks familiar patterns and creates space for new impressions. In the world of chess, an intermezzo refers, for example, to a surprising move that demands an immediate response, though not necessarily an impulsive one. In music, an intermezzo is a short, independent instrumental piece or a movement within a larger work, often serving as a bridge between sections.
Similarly, this group exhibition, which brings together artists from Sweden and Germany: in two different cities – at Studio Hanniball in Berlin and 3:e Våningen in Gothenburg – a fleeting exchange is created, one that functions like an intermezzo: a defining moment that sparks dialogue and broadens the perspective on both the familiar and the unknown.
